Our Remodeling Process

Every project starts with a free, no-pressure in-home consultation. We visit your home, walk through the space, listen to your vision, and ask the questions that help us understand exactly what you want to achieve. We look at the existing conditions — the plumbing, the electrical, the structural elements — so we can give you an accurate estimate and realistic timeline. There's no sales pressure and no obligation. We want you to feel confident that we're the right team before you commit to anything.

After the consultation, we prepare a detailed, itemized written estimate. Not a lump sum — a line-by-line breakdown of materials, labor, and scope. This transparency is intentional: we want you to understand exactly what you're paying for and why. We also include a proposed project timeline so you know when work will start, how long it will take, and when you can expect to be back in your space. We review the estimate with you in person or by phone, answer all your questions, and make any adjustments needed.

Once you've approved the estimate, we move into the design and material selection phase. For bathroom remodels and room additions, this involves selecting tile, fixtures, vanities, flooring, paint colors, and other finishes. We guide you through this process — making recommendations based on your style, budget, and the specific requirements of your space. We have relationships with local suppliers and can often get materials at better prices than you'd find at a big-box store. All selections are documented and confirmed before any work begins.

We handle all permit applications with the relevant municipality — the City of Indianapolis, the City of Carmel, Hamilton County, or wherever your project is located. We're familiar with the permit requirements and inspection processes throughout Central Indiana. Permit timelines vary by municipality and project type, but we manage the entire process and keep you informed. We also finalize the project schedule during this phase, coordinating all trades so the work flows efficiently.

Construction begins on the agreed start date. Our crew arrives on time, protects your floors and furniture, and gets to work. Your dedicated project manager oversees all trades — electrical, drywall, tile, painting — and coordinates the work so everything flows in the right sequence. We clean up at the end of every work day. You'll receive regular updates from your project manager, and you can reach them directly with any questions or concerns. We don't disappear once the project starts.

When the project is complete, we do a final walkthrough with you. We want you to inspect every detail — the tile grout lines, the paint edges, the fixture installation, the trim work. If anything isn't right, we fix it before we consider the project done. We also leave you with documentation of all permits and inspections for your records. Our goal is for you to be so happy with the result that you call us for your next project — and recommend us to your neighbors.
